The Drive Bury St Edmunds team with their Motor Trader award
Drive Motor Retail’s Bury St Edmunds site has been named Franchise Dealership of the Year at the Motor Trader Awards 2022.
The Vauxhall car and van dealer was named the winner of its category at a ceremony in London this week (Wednesday 23 November).
The award recognises dealers who demonstrate outstanding customer satisfaction, excellent performance across all departments and evidence their dedication to being an exceptional employer.
Drive Bury St Edmunds was praised for recording its best-ever sales during 2021, with every department overachieving its budgeted financial result despite the impact of the pandemic. The dealership outranked most larger Vauxhall dealers in the network and were ranked in the upper quartile of Vauxhall’s manufacturer scorecard across every metric.

The recognition follows the Drive Motor Retail group winning the Customer Care category at the 2021 Motor Trader awards. Four of the company’s sites also won a Vauxhall Customer Excellence Award earlier this year, including Bury St Edmunds.
