Dains Accountants has been reaccredited with the ACCA Approved Employer status which recognises high quality training and development.

The Approved Employer accreditation ensures that students have the right skills, ethics and competencies to drive organisations forward.

Achieving this accreditation makes it easier to recruit and retain the best graduates and helps Dains to stand out as a business that provides the highest level of support and assistance for ACCA members.

Organisations of any size can be accepted as an Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) Approved Employer which provides a clear framework to support ACCA students, employees and members working in public practice.

Dains has achieved certificates of achievement for all three streams of the programme – Practicing Certificate Development, Professional Development and Trainee Development (Platinum).

The business, which has offices across the Midlands, offers a dedicated graduate recruitment programme which gives all graduates the opportunity to join the business on a training contract with full study support.

The main intake of graduates is primarily in the Birmingham, Derby and Stoke-on-Trent offices working in the audit and taxation teams.

Angela Millward, Head of Human Resources at Dains Accountants, said: “We are very pleased to be reaccredited as an ACCA Approved Employer in all three areas of the assessment matrix.

“Recruiting and retaining high quality graduates is essential for the business and as an employer, providing quality professional development opportunities and training programmes is key to their progression.”

Dains also holds the prestigious Investors in People Gold Standard which recognises the business’s commitment to people and the key role they play.

Angela added “At Dains, we are very focused on upholding the highest levels of employee support.

“We want graduates and employees to flourish in the environment they are in which helps the business to go from strength-to-strength.”
