Clearwater International appoints Rob Burden as Partner

Clearwater International is thrilled to announce the third senior appointment in its UK team this month as Director Rob Burden becomes Partner.

Based in the Midlands Rob joined the firm in 2014 and focuses on the business services sector. As part of the Clearwater team Rob has transacted across Europe, with a number of deals in education and training, and worked closely with complementary sectors such as TMT.

 

In 2017 he was named Dealmaker of the Year in the East Midlands, with the management buyout of Westleigh Partnership, which Rob advised on, being voted deal of the year.

 

Other notable transactions include advising the shareholders of Apple reseller Jigsaw24, on a secondary management buyout supported by Alcuin Capital Partners and PNC Business Credit; and also advising private equity firm LDC on its investment in leading software supplier to UK energy providers, ENSEK Limited.

 

Clearwater International now comprises of 40 Partners, with 13 being located in the UK. This follows the recent appointment of Richard O’Donnell who joined the firm as a Partner; and Partner Mark Taylor joining the UK Board.
