Can your Company do it on a cold and rainy tuesday in stoke?

Business Fives makes its debut in Stoke on Tuesday 19th of November with the support of local technology, logistics, recruitment and manufacturing companies. Business Fives takes its corporate sports events with a charitable impact in the local community throughout the UK and is arriving in Stoke on Trent for the first time this winter.

To date, Business Fives have raised over £110,000 for charities as a result of the corporate football events.

Stoke firms have the opportunity to become champions of the city this November with qualification for the national final at stake as well.  The five a side events will visit 13 English cities before the tournament concludes with the national final at the beginning of April 2020, where England’s best will compete to be crowned the national Business Fives champions.

With a company commitment since its inception to donating 10 per cent from all revenue to charity, it will be the overall England champions who will dictate where the bumper donation ends up, with any luck it will be a Stoke on Trent based firm lifting the trophy and taking home the cheque for their chosen charity.

The events are supported by footballing legends throughout the country and Richard Creswell will be on hand to entertain the teams in Stoke.

Boasting a stellar client list the event provides an excellent opportunity for team building and networking for footie loving firms as well as raising money for charity simultaneously.

Getting the chance to bring Stroke firms together while promoting a healthy active lifestyle is fantastic and given the companies already signed up for the Winter events in Stoke it’s shaping up to be a cracking introduction to the City. Companies reserved to play so far include XPO Logistics M&S, XPO Logistics H&M Searchability, Verint, Bowers Electricals and Blue Bay Travel.

Tournament founder and Business Fives managing director John McClarey – who also organises a highly-successful Business Fours golf tournament – says “We are really excited about expanding the event to a prestigious city like Stoke on Trent  with its rich footballing history we are expecting to see a lot of talent on show. We are delighted with how the local business community in Stoke has received the event with excitement building ahead of kick off.  We really appreciate the support of our event partners and we’re looking forward to working with them to create a positive impact on the local community. Given the mix of companies we’ve had involved it, promises to be another good networking opportunity.”
