Networking, generating leads, making new connections, and picking up a few useful tips along the way are opportunities any local business owners, and their sales teams, jump at – even more so when they can do it all under one roof, and on the same day at that!

Which is why next month’s Bucks Business Expo in Newport Pagnell, on February 26 is a must. Exhibition stands are being quickly snapped up, and visitor numbers are expected to reach record levels.

Supported by the Milton Keynes Chamber of Commerce, and hosted at the Holiday Inn in Newport Pagnell, the Expo – which runs from 10am to 3pm, and is free to attend – attracts not only the local business community, but visitors from beyond the county boundary too.

“For the business community in Buckinghamshire, and beyond, it is a fantastic opportunity in one working day to generate leads, make new contacts, sell, buy, meet suppliers, network and more,” said event organiser Sheila Smith, who also runs successful expos in Northamptonshire, Bedfordshire, Oxfordshire, and Staffordshire throughout the year.

“We work closely with MK Chamber to make these events as lively, busy, interactive, informative and useful as they possibly can be for exhibitors and visitors alike, and the Holiday Inn are always extremely supportive too.

“Our Expos have firmly established themselves as popular fixtures in the local business diary in four counties now, footfall increases year on year, and the feedback from exhibitors and visitors has been extremely encouraging – which obviously makes it all worthwhile!

“Exhibiting is a real showcase opportunity for any business: it’s a cost-effective promotional opportunity, it generates leads via the old-fashioned way of face-to-face interaction, you can put appointments in the diary there and then, and of course, there’s networking activities throughout the day.

“For visitors, not only is the Expo free to attend for visitors, but we also run workshops throughout the event, dealing with a variety of topics and issues, which are also free to attend,” she said. “It is the chance to listen to, and learn from, experts in a particular field, be it legal, marketing, accountancy, and more.”
