Known for her critically acclaimed novel and New York Times bestseller, Amazing Grace Adams, Fran is set to captivate audiences with an exclusive 30-minute conversation.

Attendees can look forward to an afternoon filled with sipping, swapping, and storytelling. It’s the ultimate book lover’s delight, offering a chance to indulge in your literary cravings and connect with fellow bibliophiles.

The highlight of the event promises to be a 45-minute conversation with the talented Fran Littlewood herself. As the mastermind behind the acclaimed novel and New York Times bestseller, Amazing Grace Adams, Fran will offer insights into her creative process, inspirations, and the profound themes explored within her debut masterpiece.

The bestseller lists have recently played host to some fabulously flawed and self-sabotaging midlife heroines and Amazing Grace Adams is more than just an entertaining novel; it’s a profound exploration of womanhood, motherhood, marriage, and the intricacies of aging today.

With her background as a former journalist with The Times and an MA in Creative Writing from Royal Holloway, University of London, Fran Littlewood brings a unique perspective to the table.

TV rights have also been optioned by The Mare of Easttown producer. Fran said, ‘There’s a brilliant screenwriter on board, who’s written a pilot and is making a start on a second episode, so it might actually happen, you never know…! It’s a book written straight from the heart, as honest and raw as I could make it, and I can’t wait to come to Glasgow and chat all things Grace with Heather. I’ve also just finished the first draft of my second book, another exploration of a dysfunctional family – adult sisters, sibling rivalry, a favourite daughter… – and I think it might chime with lots of people, so more on that too!’

The Bookface Sip & Swap events are hugely popular and sell out each month. Notable previous guests include authors of every genre including Val McDermid, Davinia Taylor, Susannah Constantine, Helen Fields, Sophie Gravia, Chris Brookmyre, Alan Parks, Doug Allan, and Helen Fitzgerald.
