Clive Read, Birmingham Awards Winner
Clive Read, Partner at award-winning law firm VWV, was named ‘Professional of the Year’ at the Birmingham Awards 2018 at Edgbaston Stadium on Saturday.
The awards receive hundreds of nominations each year, and celebrate everything from inspirational young achievers to the very best of Birmingham’s professional talent who continue to develop Birmingham into an international, commercial hub bursting with culture and creativity. The ‘Professional of the Year’ award shines a spotlight on exceptional individuals and community champions who strive to make the city a better place – Clive’s win highlights the professional and personal impact of his work across the city.
Clive Read, VWV’s Birmingham Office Partner, commented on his win: “It’s incredible to be recognised for this award among so many inspiring individuals who have come together to celebrate the city’s success. Clive’s award win comes hot on the heels of fellow Birmingham-based Partner Dee Kundi’s victory at the Asian Business Chamber of Commerce Annual Dinner and Conference last week, where she was named ‘Outstanding Business Woman of the Year’ alongside Rosie Ginday from prominent Birmingham social enterprise, Miss Macaroon, one of VWV’s key clients. VWV’s impact in the region continues to be felt as the firm recently won the coveted ‘Birmingham Law Firm of the Year’ award at the City of Birmingham Business Awards 2018, and stands as testament to the team’s dedication and passion for the city.
The firm has also celebrated great success across the country throughout the year, achieving 7 award wins, ranging from national recognition for Excellence in Client Care at the LawNet Awards 2018, to ‘Team of the Year’ for VWV approach, the firm’s free legal referral and support network of over 110 firms nationwide.
