BHSF Medical Practice goes from strength to strength

Health and wellbeing provider, BHSF is delighted to announce the appointment of dermatologist, Dr Christos Kasparis at their Medical Practice based in Birmingham’s Colmore Business District. Passionate about all things skin, Dr Kasparis has a particular interest in skin cancer and dermatological surgery.

He is highly experienced, the author of numerous articles in medical journals, and is committed to using the most up to date treatments and therapies.

Skin conditions have affected 60% of the UK population at one time or another[1]. Many conditions like eczema or rosacea have no cure and can be unpredictable. Finding the right treatment to manage conditions can be difficult and waiting times to see a specialist on the NHS typically range from a few weeks to several months. Adding Dr Kasparis to the team at the Medical Practice ensures more people trying to find a way to manage their conditions can do so faster. The clinic offers same day appointments, meaning no waiting times or the need for a referral, providing unique access to experts in a relaxed and tranquil environment.

The BHSF Medical Practice, opened in May 2018, offers general practice appointments and professional consultant services across a wide range of medical disciplines. This year interest in the clinic has grown significantly and September saw a record number of enquires.

Shelley Rowley – Director at BHSF Medical Practice and recently appointed to the board, said: “I’m really exciting about bringing Dr Christos Kasparis on board at the Medical Practice. We’ve received a particularly high number of enquires around skin conditions, where people can spend years trying to find a treatment that works for them. Providing a solution through Dr Kasparis will help many more people do just that. This appointment signals our desire to grow our proposition, providing high-quality and affordable medical expertise that can positively change people’s lives. I’m really looking forward to leading the Medical Practice through its next phase of growth and expanding our offering further in the coming months.”
