Axil works with leading Covid-19 testing company

A waste management firm from Corby is working with a leading global Covid-19 testing company to help in the fight back against Coronavirus.

Cignpost Diagnostics Ltd, which is conducting Covid-19 tests at nearly 30 sites across the UK, has chosen Axil Integrated Services to support its work by delivering waste services for testing sites.

The new contract has seen Axil manage waste services at Cignpost Diagnostics laboratory facilities as well as its test sites across sectors including elite sport, defence, media and finance and for leading companies such as Netflix, Amazon, the BBC, the Scottish Premiership and the PGA European Tour. More locations are expected to be added in the near future.

ExpressTest, the consumer division of Cignpost Diagnostics, based at Heathrow airport is the UK’s largest drive-through Covid-19 private testing site. The 24-lane drive-through is geared up to test over 5,000 people a day and includes two onsite laboratories to ensure passengers get accurate test results quickly to help boost the airline industry’s fortunes.
