Award-winning Aston University announced as headline sponsor for Birmingham Awards 2021

Aston is a leading UK University for business and technical professions and is known for its world-class teaching and research in a safe yet vibrant and multicultural environment. It has over 13,000 students from over 130 countries.

Aston University has climbed six places to number 30 in the latest Guardian University Guide. The Guardian league table focuses on the quality of teaching, student satisfaction and employability – issues which are vital to young people choosing where to study.

Birmingham Awards organisers, Anita & Ifraz said: “We are excited and honoured that Aston University has come on board as headline sponsor. This year’s awards are so much more important than any other year, with the challenges we have all been facing over the past eighteen months. This year the theme of the awards is all about RESILIENCE and we look forward to Aston University being part of this celebration with us all.”

Mark Smith said: “Aston University is delighted to sponsor the Birmingham Awards and support this important celebration of Birmingham’s resilience. Through its staff, students and graduates, the university was proud to support the region through the pandemic. As we move to growth in the coming years, which the Universities and Colleges across the City will support, it is vital to ensure we properly recognise those whose achievements have helped us reach this point.”

The Birmingham Awards will take place on 27th November 2021 at the newly built Eastside Rooms, a great addition to Birmingham’s conference and events space.
