Auto RARA demonstrates transparency to the Concours of Elegance 2025 with a trio of restoration stories

When the prestigious Concours of Elegance returns to Hampton Court Palace from 5–7 September 2025, Auto RARA will present an exhibition unlike any other. Instead of simply showcasing finished classics, the Derbyshire-based restoration house will display three iconic cars at different stages of their journey — demonstrating its core values of transparency, craftsmanship, and customer-centric restoration.

A Line-Up with a Difference

Auto RARA’s stand will feature:

    • • A concours-standard Peugeot 205 GTI, already featured in EVO magazine, representing the pinnacle of Auto RARA’s restoration capability. Every detail has been brought to perfection, showing the destination of a completed journey.
        • Lamborghini 400GT – Painted Shell
          Shown mid-restoration as a painted shell, the rare Lamborghini 400GT provides an honest look at the complex work normally hidden beneath polished finishes. It symbolises Auto RARA’s commitment to keeping clients fully informed throughout the process.
          • Ford Escort Mk2 Harrier – Epoxy Primer
            Displayed in fresh epoxy primer, the Mk2 Harrier demonstrates the earliest phase before paintwork begins. It is a visual reminder of the importance of foundations in delivering long-term quality.

      Build Diaries: Bringing Visitors Inside the Workshop

      In a bold move for transparency, Auto RARA will also provide onsite access to the Build Diary of each vehicle. These detailed digital records include imagery, progress reports, and step-by-step updates, allowing Concours visitors to explore the extensive processes behind the scenes.
