Brand new coworking hub, Works Social, has released a selection of images from behind its yellow door in Commerce Square in Nottingham’s Lace Market.

The contemporary coworking space and event concept, officially opening in May 2019, is aimed at independent freelancers that are ready to move out of their home office, remote workers looking for a dedicated desk and small businesses teams looking for a stepping stone before taking on premises of their own.

Renovations of the four-storey, Grade II listed building have taken over 12 months and have transformed the former Lace Works into a bright and airy coworking community. With dedicated desks, shared meeting room and kitchen facilities, hot desking options, pods for private calls and relaxed event space for networking or training, Works Social offers a range of membership options to suit all stages of self-employment or scaling up from a micro business into a bigger team.

Works Social co-founder Lise Garner Morgan said: “It’s been hard graft to get it ready to open the doors, but we’re really think that the finish and the feel of the place is just what Nottingham’s coworking community needs. We’ve had some fantastic feedback from our walkarounds and have been overwhelmed so far with how many people have expressed an interest in signing up. Whether it is virtual address, a dedicated desk or space for a small team, we are looking forward to welcoming our new members from May 1st 2019.”

With three floors dedicated to communal desk space, hot-desking areas, shared facilities and personal lockers, the ground floor offers a bookable meeting room space, breakout areas, relaxation area, an outdoor terrace and a bar.

A range of membership options are available from annual virtual office arrangements to monthly membership packages for independent workers, teams and pairs of freelancers.

Open evenings will be taking place on Wednesday 17th April and Wednesday 1st May from 5pm to 7pm, interested coworkers can book via Eventbrite or contact: [email protected].
