Custom bespoke tailoring company, A Hand Tailored Suit, has announced that due to continuing growth and expansion it is opening a brand new private tailoring showroom in the heart of Birmingham City Centre.
The new showroom is located at Lancaster House, 67 Newhall Street, close to Birmingham’s financial district, and centrally located between the centre of town and the Jewellery quarter, perfect for corporate clients to visit during their lunchtime or a break in work, whilst providing other clients with the chance to view, discuss and be measured.
For the past two years, the team, brothers David and Jonathan Haynes, have been busy developing and growing their bespoke tailoring business – A Hand Tailored Suit, in Ireland, where they now have four main locations. These are; The main HQ in Molesworth Street, Dublin, Belfast, Cork and Limerick. Further tailoring locations are planned across mainland Europe.
Speaking about the opening of the new bespoke tailoring showroom, David, the co-founder & head of marketing, stated, “We are now tailoring to four main locations in Ireland and had an opportunity that we could not afford to let pass to set up a Private Showroom here in the heart of Birmingham.”
“We felt it was only fitting (pardon the pun), to head back into the UK market having established ourselves in Ireland. With Brexit looming it was the smart move to have two tailoring HQs in Birmingham and Dublin.”

A Hand Tailored Suit sources its cloths predominantly from England and Italy and offers a fully bespoke cut & finish. As it’s a bespoke service, the company still uses the old traditional cutting techniques of drafting a unique paper pattern for each client, however it has added some advanced extras that can be built into each of its uniquely tailored garments which are either fully or half canvassed. With this process, customers have full control over how their finished garment will look and feel.
There are more than 3,000 different cloths in a vast selection of styles and choices in house for customers to select from, not to mention the bespoke Shirting options which are also available. All of which are available to both ladies, gentlemen and corporate businesses and can be created to fit any corporate or personal occasion.
Over the past two years A Hand Tailored Suit has been tailoring to Ireland’s business elite fulfilling their sartorial requirements, as well as fitting out the bride and grooms getting married across Ireland.
As an example of approximate costs, a two-piece suit will start from £499 and pricing then works upwards dependent on the selected cloth and mill. A special June offer is also available with 30% off for anyone booking in.
If customers choose to order online, A Hand Tailored Suit’s back end bespoke shopping cart also allows clients to design and review digital swatches and allows them to track their order from the cutting table through to fitting. Standard cut & stitch time is around 8 weeks, (a chargeable fast track cut & stitch service of 4 weeks is also available) with wedding orders advised to allow 12 weeks prior to wedding date.
