Sadie Jones, founder and CEO of She Beasts CIC, will speak at the West Midlands Employer Domestic Abuse Networking Event on Thursday 12 November at The Colmore Building, Birmingham.
In her session, From Surviving to Leading, Sadie will draw on lived experience and her work with women across the region to show employers what real support looks like, from the first conversation to keeping someone safe and in work.
Sadie has been featured by the BBC and the business has won a number of Awards over the last few years. She Beasts CIC is a trauma-informed social enterprise helping women move from crisis into confidence, qualifications and employment.
The free event is run by Voices Social Enterprise, She Beasts CIC and the Employers’ Initiative on Domestic Abuse (EIDA), with the venue supported by Irwin Mitchell. It runs from 10am to 3pm, and places are free for West Midlands employers.
