New UK community launches to help mums build themselves up and step into their next era

House of Mama is creating a judgement-free community for mothers who know there is more to them, and want to explore what that could look like.

A new community for mums is launching with a message that challenges the idea that motherhood means putting your own ambitions and identity on hold.

House of Mama, founded by marketing professional and mum Amy Harrison, is a community designed to help women enter their next era with intention, giving them the space, support and community to work on themselves, explore what they want from life and actually go after it.

The idea is simple: mums deserve to invest in themselves, too.

House of Mama isn’t about going back to who you were before children. It isn’t about “finding yourself again” or becoming a better mum.

It is about asking a different question:

Who do you want to become now?

For some women, that might mean starting a business. For another, it could mean changing career when she returns to work. For someone else, it might mean finding a way to create an income that allows her to stay at home with her children.

It might be finally pursuing the idea she has had in the back of her mind for years. Or it might simply be figuring out what that idea even is.

House of Mama exists to help bring “that thing” to the surface.

The thing that makes a woman think “I know I’m meant for more.”

Amy says the idea came from recognising that motherhood can be a new chapter of a woman’s life, rather than a reason to put herself last.

“It’s about asking yourself what you want now. What lights you up? What have you always wanted to do? What could your life look like if you actually gave yourself permission to go for it?

“House of Mama is about helping women work that out,  and then supporting them as they build themselves up.”

The community will combine self-development, wellbeing, ambition and connection, with a strong emphasis on doing the work for yourself, not simply for your children, your partner or your career.

House of Mama will bring women together through workshops, events, speakers and practical experiences including:

  • Mindfulness and meditation
  • Yoga and wellbeing sessions
  • Journalling and reflection
  • Vision boarding
  • Goal-setting and future planning
  • Inspirational speakers
  • Personal development workshops
  • Honest conversations around identity, ambition and motherhood
  • Opportunities to meet other like-minded mums and find their “village”

At its heart is a no-judgement community where women can explore what they want without feeling they need to justify it.

Whether a mum wants to build a business, progress her career, create financial freedom, stay at home with her children, pursue a passion or simply become more confident and fulfilled, there is space for her.

Because House of Mama believes that there is no single version of what a successful life looks like.

The community is built around three core ideas:

BUILD YOURSELF

Invest in your mindset, confidence, wellbeing and personal growth.

BUILD YOUR BRAND

Explore your ideas, ambitions, strengths and what you have to offer the world.

BUILD YOUR LIFE

Create a vision for your future and take steps towards the life you actually want.

“We all have that little voice that says there’s more for me,” says Amy. “House of Mama is about creating the space to listen to it.”

House of Mama will launch with a programme of online and in-person experiences, bringing mums together to learn, reflect, connect and take action.
