Founded by Worcestershire mum Amy Harrison, House of Mama is building a community designed to bring mothers together through meaningful conversations, personal development and real-life connection, with ambitions to expand across the UK.
A new community created to help mums reconnect with themselves and each other is beginning to take shape in Worcestershire, as House of Mama launches a series of local meet-ups with a vision to bring mothers together across the UK.
Founded by Amy Harrison, House of Mama was created to support mums who want to embrace motherhood without losing sight of who they are, their ambitions or the things that make them feel fulfilled.
While motherhood can be one of life’s most rewarding experiences, it can also bring feelings of isolation, a shift in identity and the challenge of finding time for yourself. House of Mama aims to create a space where women can connect with others who understand those experiences, build meaningful friendships and continue to invest in themselves.
The community has recently taken its first steps into real-life events with a Mama Walk & Talk in Worcester, bringing local mums together for a relaxed opportunity to get outside, meet new people and enjoy open, honest conversation.
With further local meet-ups planned, House of Mama hopes to establish a growing network of events across different towns and cities, making it easier for mums to find their people, build supportive friendships and feel part of something beyond their immediate family life.
Amy Harrison, founder of House of Mama, said: “Motherhood changes so much about who we are and how we live our lives. While it can be incredibly rewarding, it’s also easy to lose a little bit of yourself along the way, particularly when so much of your time and energy goes into looking after everyone else.
“I wanted to create something that reminds mums that they are still individuals with their own ambitions, interests, identities and dreams. House of Mama is about creating a community where we can support one another, have meaningful conversations and remind each other that we don’t have to navigate motherhood alone.
“Starting with local meet-ups feels like a really exciting first step. I’d love to see House of Mama grow into a network of communities across the UK, so that wherever you live, you have the opportunity to connect with other mums who just get it.”
House of Mama is about more than meeting for a coffee or going for a walk. Its wider vision is to create a community centred on three key areas: building yourself, building your brand and building your life. Through local gatherings, shared experiences and future workshops and events, the aim is to encourage mums to prioritise their own growth alongside family life.
The ambition is to start locally, build genuine connections and grow organically into a nationwide community, bringing women together both online and in person.
