Belfast hearing care practice begins new chapter with move and rebrand

Independent hearing care provider True Tone Hearing has opened the doors to its new Belfast city centre clinic, marking a new chapter for a practice which has served local patients for many years.

Formerly known locally as Campbell Hearing, the businesses has rebranded to True Tone Hearing and relocated just around the corner to a newly redesigned Georgian townhouse at 9 Chichester Street.

The move brings the Belfast practice in line with the True Tone Hearing brand already established within optical practices across Northern Ireland.

Owner Conor Fitzpatrick and his team have spent the summer settling into the new premises and are now inviting people across Belfast to visit during a special open week, running until Friday, 9 October, to celebrate the clinic’s official opening.

The event will give existing patients and new visitors the opportunity to meet the team, look around the new clinic and find out more about hearing care, with appointments and initial hearing screenings available alongside refreshments and treats.

The True Tone team, consisting of Conor with colleagues Cara Mullan and Glenn Haveron, are keen to use the move to encourage people to take their hearing more seriously – particularly those who may have noticed changes but have continued to put off getting their hearing checked.

Conor, who has worked as an audiologist since 2007 and has a deep interest in sound design and audio technology, said: “We’ve put our heart and soul into creating this clinic, and we’re incredibly proud to welcome patients through the doors. We’ve made it our mission to do justice to this beautiful building and bring a bit of the prestigious Harley Street feel to Belfast. We can’t wait to show people around, hear their thoughts and celebrate this next chapter together.

“Whether someone needs help with troublesome ear wax, wants to understand changes in their hearing or is looking to protect their ears, we want them to feel comfortable taking that first step.

“We all take our hearing for granted until we have problems. We are not here to just treat hearing issues – we want to educate, protect and prevent issues arising in the future.”

The new clinic provides a range of hearing care services, including ear wax removal, hearing assessments, hearing aid fittings, hearing protection and ongoing aftercare.

True Tone Hearing’s investment in ear-scanning technology also allows the practice to provide custom in-ear monitors and hearing protection for musicians.

Conor added: “Our open week is a chance to meet us, ask questions and discover the support available right here in the heart of Belfast.”

The building was originally built for residential use in the early 19th century before being converted into commercial and healthcare spaces. It has recently been beautifully restored to retain its Georgian character.

True Tone Hearing’s open week is now taking place at 9 Chichester Street, Belfast.

Appointments, including initial hearing screenings, can be booked by calling 028 9024 0045, or just call in for more information.
