Global digital photography studio relocates to premium managed suites at Smithfield Works

Smithfield Works is delighted to welcome the Hunter Douglas Visualization Experience team – who are part of the world’s largest window coverings company, as the newest tenant in its modern, flexible workspace in Hanley.

The Hunter Douglas Visualisation Experience team provide product photography to its parent company’s – Hunter Douglas Group – E-commerce websites, which includes top household brands such as Blinds2Go and Hillarys, as well as in nine other countries worldwide.

The digital photography provider has secured an initial 12-month agreement at Smithfield Works with plans to further extend this as part of the firm’s growth strategy.

Hunter Douglas Visualisation Experience was previously based in Burslem and was created following the acquisition of Amp Creative in 2023.

Director Lewis Booth – who founded Amp Creative in 2017 –  remains at the helm of the business and says they are already reaping the benefits of the managed Smithfield Works office space.

“We were previously in a building we owned in Burslem, which was OK, but it is so much better to be able to enjoy not just the security, but also the premium facilities which the managed office space at Smithfield Works provide,” said Lewis.

“We actually wanted to come here a year ago but the office we wanted was not available at the time, so to now be here is great for all of us and we are looking forward to a long-term relationship.”

Lewis added: “The flexibility of the office has meant we can really make it our own and we can focus more on our service output and moving the business forward.

“The location is also a bonus when welcoming clients to the office and we are hoping this will also enable us to further grow. We are already planning to welcome more local CGI artists to join our team in the near future.

“The surrounding Smithfield estate is a great place to walk around – again to welcome clients to – and even to show them some of the local attractions and enjoy the food pop-up vans and restaurants.”

Adele Simmons, Community Manager, at Smithfield Works, said: “It has been great to finally welcome Lewis and the team at Hunter Douglas Visualisation Experience to Smithfield Works.

“Lewis first approached us 12 months ago, but unfortunately then, we did not have a big enough suite available, however we constantly kept in touch. They have a really exciting business producing global product photography and we cannot wait to see how things develop. We have a great mixed group of businesses with us such as Ticketmaster Sport, Harrison Drury and Barclays, and it’s brilliant to now welcome Lewis and the team into one of our larger office suites.”

As well as a variety of office suites, Smithfield Works also offer flexible premium co-working facilities and meeting room hire at the Hanley location.
