Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People needs businesses in the East Midlands to join them for an evening of laugh-out-loud challenges packed with inflatables, foam and water.
The charity’s It’s A Knockout event takes place from 5pm – 8.30pm on Tuesday 14 July at Loughborough Grammar School Quorn Playing Fields. Places are still available for teams of 8 – 10 people.
Claire Hoggan, Rainbows Senior Events Officer, said “It’s A Knockout was a popular TV game show known for its high-energy, and silly challenges. Teams competed against each other in light-hearted physical games featuring oversized inflatables, slippery surfaces, silly costumes and plenty of chaos.
“Our competition brings that same fun-filled spirit to life, with modern, safe and exciting challenges designed to test teamwork, speed and coordination. And as well as having fun, all money raised at the event goes towards our specialist palliative and end-of-life care for babies, children and young people across the East Midlands.”
Last year, a team from Currys Loughborough Campus took part. Yvette Seyfang-Lewis, ICE Team Lead at Currys Loughborough Campus, added: “Taking part in It’s A Knockout for Rainbows was one of the highlights of the year. It was a fantastic day full of fun, friendly competition and plenty of moments that had us all in stitches. More importantly, it brought colleagues together, strengthened team relationships and gave us the chance to support an incredible cause that is close to many of our hearts. Knowing that the money raised helps Rainbows continue their amazing work made every foam-filled obstacle and soaking wet challenge worthwhile.”
