On Saturday 4th December, The Mary Stevens Hospice will open their doors to welcome their community to their annual Christmas Coffee Morning.
The Mary Stevens Hospice’s Christmas Coffee Morning has become a community favourite occasion and staff at the Hospice love to welcome their supporters to visit them at the Hospice.
Families from all around the Borough attend the Coffee Morning each year to enjoy a slice of cake or mince pie with a coffee or hot drink to help to raise the vital funds that the Hospice needs to continue to care for their community.
After not being able to hold the annual event last year due to the Covid-19 pandemic, staff at the Hospice have been working hard to make sure that this will be the best ‘welcome back’ for their community.
At 11am on the day, Santa will be making a special trip to the Hospice! He will stop under a snowy sky outside of the Day Services Unit to take lots of festive photographs.
There will be bottle and toiletries tombolas, garden and gifts stalls, a Christmas crafts stall, silent auction and much more for supporters to have a browse of!
Amanda Bowen, Head of Fundraising at The Mary Stevens Hospice said: “We were so disappointed that we were unable to hold last year’s traditional Christmas Coffee Morning as we have always relied on our fundraising, Christmas events to ensure we can continue to care for local families, at a time when they need us the most.
During this festive season we are so grateful to our supporters for continuing to help us sustain our vital services and with £3.5 million needed to be raised each and every year to do so, this is the perfect opportunity for us to say thank you and welcome you all back to the hospice.”
Entry to the event is free and runs from 10:30am – 1pm on Saturday 4th December. The Hospice is located at 221 Hagley Road, Oldswinford, Stourbridge, DY8 2JR
