Hospice cards feature snowy scenes of the Black Country

The range of unique festive cards will be sold in aid of The Mary Stevens Hospice.

The proceeds from each pack sold will provide funds to ensure that the Stourbridge based Hospice can continue to provide free, specialist care and support to those living in the Dudley Borough.

Each year a range of cards are sold by The Mary Stevens Hospice Trading Company and have proved a great success – with more than £20,000 being raised and 7,500 packs of cards sold in one year.

This year, there are 19 designs of cards on sale and the Hospice’s pride to be a part of the Black Country is shown through a selection of seven designs that feature local snowy scenes across the area.

All of the cards featuring local scenes are made by Queen Bee Designs and created by three artists –, Sheena Russell, Lee Scammacca & Peter Murray. The 16 other designs in the collection were designed and supplied by Impress and Ling.

Debbie Haynes, Retail Administrator at The Mary Stevens Hospice Trading Company, said: “Once again we have a wonderful selection of Christmas cards this year which raise a substantial amount of money for Mary Stevens Hospice.

We have 19 designs all in environmentally friendly packaging and due to popular demand, we have increased our local scenes to seven to include Wordsley Cone, Christmas shopping in Stourbridge High Street, Bratch Locks, Wombourne, Mary Stevens Park, St James Wollaston Church, Himley Hall and Kinver High Street. These are a limited supply so make sure you buy them early!”
