Christian Corney has been appointed Chief Executive Officer at leading global COVID-19 testing company Cignpost Diagnostics. Corney, who has led Cignpost since its inception, takes on the role from his previous position as Managing Director.
Leading Cignpost’s entrepreneurial and dynamic team of over 350 in London, Christian will continue to develop the company’s existing world-class screening services for businesses globally. Since its launch in June 2020, Cignpost has administered over 200,000 gold-standard PCR tests and created COVID-secure bubbles for over 100 different clients globally. It operates across sectors including elite sports, defence, media and finance and for leading companies such as Netflix, Amazon, the BBC, the Scottish Premiership, ATP and the PGA European Tour.
In November 2020, Cignpost launched its consumer brand, ExpressTest offering its gold-standard rapid PCR tests to the public at affordable prices. The ExpressTest service was launched as the official COVID-19 screening centre partner for Gatwick Airport and is also now available at Heathrow, Edinburgh and at a network of regional centres across the country.
The London based start-up has quickly evolved into a global leader in diagnostics providing services across the world including the Middle East, Europe and North America. Today the team offer services beyond testing, providing strategic consultancy on business continuity and customised end to end solutions to meet client needs.
Prior to joining Cignpost, Christian had a track record in building and leading consumer brands specialising in the technology sector and has his own strategic consultancy business.
