A Shropshire law firm is continuing its support of one of the county’s major event organisers by holding its staff party at the forthcoming “Oktoberfest” celebration.
Lanyon Bowdler has worked with Shropshire Festivals on a number of occasions, with the events company organising a series of staff gatherings in recent years.
Amanda Jones, marketing director at Lanyon Bowdler, said the firm had decided to combine business with pleasure this year and invite every single member of staff to Shropshire Oktoberfest, which takes place this weekend.
She said: “As a firm we are always looking for fun and meaningful ways to bring our staff together, both to build the bonds which help us work effectively as a team, and to thank them for their continued dedication and commitment.
“We are also always keen to support our fellow Shropshire businesses, and have enjoyed working with the team at Shropshire Festivals whose expertise has helped to create some memorable events over a number of years.
“But this year we thought we would do something a bit different, so instead of organising our own staff party we are inviting the team to enjoy Shropshire Oktoberfest in The Quarry this Friday (3rd October).
“In this way, we are supporting an excellent event which brings plenty of people into Shrewsbury, and giving our staff the opportunity to spend some time together as a thank you for their hard work.”

“We’ve planned lots of fun for their private party in the Lanyon Bowdler Live Lounge on the first night of Oktoberfest. Holding a staff party within Shropshire Oktoberfest is a great way to ensure a brilliant night out for all.
“The Lanyon Bowdler Live Lounge will be transformed into a comedy club on Saturday (October 4th) with this cracking lineup of comedians: Jonny Awsum, James Dowdeswell, Keith Farnan, Shazia Mirza, Alistair Barrie, Steve Gribbin, and Tony Vino as MC.
