The management team at Birmingham’s leading city-centre spa are looking to recruit a number of therapists to work in the new look venue, following a £500,000 refurbishment programme.

thespa at The Cube on Wharfside Street now wants the best therapists from across the Midlands to get in touch, particularly those who think they’ve got what it takes to make customer’s experience second-to-none.

Following a 12-week programme, work to transform the spa is on track to finish at the end of March and has elevated the facilities in keeping with the expectations of those looking for a luxury spa day in the city.

Jennifer Butters, manager at the spa said: “The refurbishment has created more treatment rooms and means we’ve created more openings for quality therapists to work here. The standard required will be very high and those who think they’ve got what it takes have to be totally dedicated, professional and will want to strive to be the best in all they do.”

Already a favourite with people from right across the Midlands, the work has seen an extension of the relaxation or quiet area plus the addition of more treatment rooms. Oozing luxury it will appeal to those looking for a place to chill out and relax.

In addition, the refurbishment programme will see the UK’s leading provider of skincare product, Elemis, open a flagship store at the venue.

There is also an increase in the number of double and single full-length loungers, and a series of hanging canvas cocoons © will also be installed where guests can quite literally hang out!

Soft lighting and underfloor heating will also make this area the perfect place for people to lie back, relax and get away from the stresses and strains of modern-day life.

Jennifer added: “The inclusion of the Elemis store, which is widely regarded as being the leading British skin care spa brand, will add further to the venue’s appeal to those wanting a luxurious spa day, as well as those wanting to work with a quality and well-respected product.

“The reopening of the spa is great news for the region and we’re expecting a lot of interest from those keen to gain experience of working in an environment that will prove inspiring and relaxing in equal measure.”
