Coventry is about to be served up a stunning range of food and drink delights as The Botanist announces its opening date of Monday, November 26.
Situated in the newly developed Cathedral Lanes Shopping Centre, The Botanist Coventry will showcase even more of the unique and quirky style for which it has become known. This location is set to be one of the flagship sites for the brand.
General Manager Matt Dudgeon said: “As soon as we stepped inside the site in Cathedral Lanes we knew it was going to be our new home. We fell in love with it and we’re so excited to be involved in the redevelopment of the shopping centre and be part of what we’re sure will be a thriving success.
“The atmosphere around here is amazing, we’ve been made to feel so welcome and we can’t wait to open our doors at the end of November.”
Resident botanists are poised to craft an array of extraordinary cocktail creations using all that Mother Nature has to offer including fresh pressed fruit and the finest greenhouse herbs.
Favourites include The Botanist Pornstar, packing a punch with sugar snap peas and passion fruit with rose sugar syrup, strawberry purée, pineapple and lemon juice with Ketel One Vodka and passion fruit liqueur. Served with a shot of Prosecco and half a passion fruit.
The Beetroot Blush always proves popular with raspberry vodka, pomegranate juice, fresh beetroot, vanilla syrup, poppy liqueur, lemon juice and a dash of Velvet Falernum.
Huge consideration and creativity have also been put into the food menu which includes favourites from the deli, rotisserie and grill alongside a vibrant selection of vegan, vegetarian, dairy free and non-gluten dishes.
Highlights include Salt & Pepper Onion Petals, Lamb Kofta Hanging Kebab with harissa jam, Pork Schnitzel with spicy macaroni cheese and sun-dried tomato salad, Harissa Aubergine Steak with saffron and almond couscous, baby gem and tahini and the delicious Crispy Chicken Burger with katsu curry sauce, cucumber and red onion.
