The Savills architecture and building surveying team in Lichfield has been boosted by two new appointments. Jamie Nuttall and Julian Forshaw have both joined the team as chartered building surveyors predominantly working across the West Midlands, Staffordshire, Shropshire and Derbyshire.
Julian joins the team with over 13 years’ experience as a building surveyor across residential, commercial, healthcare, education and transport sectors, where he acted for private and public sector clients. Julian is well versed in all areas of building surveying, but he is particularly experienced in dilapidations, schedules of condition and due diligence. He attended Liverpool John Moored University where he studied a Masters in Commercial Building Surveying.
After graduating from Sheffield Hallam University with a degree in Building Surveying, Jamie built up 11 years of knowledge with a property consultancy and building surveying firm where he gained extensive experience in design and remodelling solutions, and the delivery of both refurbishment and new build projects. As a member of the Faculty of Party Wall Surveyors, Jamie is particularly experienced in Party Wall related matters which he specialises in. He also has in-depth knowledge of planned preventative maintenance delivery.
Both Julian and Jamie are members of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. They will be working alongside Chris Batterby, who heads up the architecture and building surveying team.

The appointments follow a team expansion in 2017, further bolstering the 11 strong architecture and building surveying department at Savills Lichfield.
