Ping pong players at the ready…SERVE, an exciting new venue situated in the heart of Birmingham will be opening its doors for the first time on Friday 3rd August at 5pm.
Located on Temple Row, SERVE offers a unique immersive ping pong experience with a delicious food offering along with a stylish and contemporary bar. With 17 ping pong tables, SERVE will be open day and night, offering something for everyone.
Early bird sessions provide the perfect spot for weekend brunch or the chance to challenge a colleague over lunchtime.
At night, after 9pm the theme song plays, lights go down and the tempo paddles up with an extensive cocktail list, delicious food featuring modern classics and internationally inspired dishes made with local organic ingredients, guest DJs and masterclasses by stars of the ping pong world. A private reSERVE space with two ping pong tables is also available exclusively for corporate events and private birthday parties.
The opening weekend will see SERVE’s own DJ Spin Diesel (aka Scott Sheehy) who is flying in from New York to mark the launch of SERVE manning the decks. One of the top DJ’s in the USA he’s played private events for Nicole Kidman, Diddy, Usher, Drew Barrymore and Shaquille O’Neal, plus international affairs for Google, Coach, Nike and Microsoft as well as just recently spinning 6 nights in a row to thousands of people at New York’s Central Park. His “In The Mix” radio program was one of the most listened to mix-shows in the country.
SERVE is the brainchild of David Smith and James Day, who first met in New York and began to develop the idea for a venue which combined four key elements – great food, fantastic cocktails, outstanding service, and most importantly, fun!

The vision was to bring that concept to the UK with a new offering that could provide a relaxed, family friendly environment by day and a hip, nightclub culture by night.
