Birmingham Media Guru Barry Tomes is set to launch his own radio show called US10 RADIO on Thursday 25th January, to be aired on 247 Disco Heaven radio.
48 years ago Tomes launched Radio Northfield at his school, Northfield Comprehensive School, where he would broadcast from the Assembly Hall to all the classrooms through the old mono speakers.
This exciting new project sees Tomes, who is already know for his worldwide record company Gotham Records and PR company, present a unique show featuring 10 American musical artists of any genre, both well known and emerging.
US Artists are already queuing up to be on the show and Tomes said in a statement “This is something I have always wanted to do, and I am thrilled that the reaction has been so positive. I love America and its music, and this is an ideal platform for me to showcase some of the great American classics, young new bands and solo artists here in the UK”.
