Coventry’s Butts Park Arena swapped scrums for vows recently when a local couple broke away from tradition and hosted their wedding reception at the home of Coventry Rugby.
It marked the first ever wedding reception at the Arena, with the couple choosing a relaxed hog roast over a formal three-course meal, celebrating with family and friends in the impressive Butts Park Arena Platinum Marquee as well as out on the pitch.
Mainly frequented by rugby fans on match days, the venue’s growing popularity of its pitch side marquee, hospitality suites and large flexible event spaces for events hasn’t surprised Executive Chairman Jon Sharp or his hard-working staff.
