Bristol-based financial planner capitalises on growth with new partner appointments

L-R: Naomi Keith and Ken Hall outside Aspire’s offices in Bristol

An award-winning Bristol financial advice specialist has promoted two of its most experienced financial planners.

Ken Hall and Naomi Keith have been appointed partners at The Aspire Partnership, the only financial advice firm in the city to be included as a Top Rated Firm in the 2024 Vouched For Top Rated Guide.

This marks an exciting step forward for the small, family-focused company that has seen a 20% surge in demand from clients who are approaching retirement, in retirement, professionals, trustees, and business owners.

It is now looking to build on this recent success by strengthening its senior leadership team and through the creation of new roles over the course of 2025.

Nikki King, Managing Partner, said: “Ken and Naomi are both Bristol born and bred and have been instrumental in shaping Aspire into the incredibly successful and respected firm we are.

“Their promotion to partner opens a new chapter for us and will make us stronger moving forward, which is great for the business and our valued clients.”

Ken, who joined the business in 2010, is both a Chartered financial planner with the Chartered Insurance Institute and a Certified financial planner with the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investments. He has extensive knowledge of personal taxation, financial planning in retirement, and estates and trusts.

He said: “I have been in the financial industry since the age of 17, passing my first financial exams at the age of 18. It’s been an enjoyable career that has allowed me to grow and develop over the years.

“This promotion makes me very proud and proves that, if you are prepared to start at the bottom, work hard, listen and learn you can be extremely successful. The most exciting aspect of my new role is really feeling part of the business.”

Naomi has been with Aspire for seven years and typically works with busy professionals, partners in law firms, CEOs, and business owners based in London, Bath, and Bristol.

She is highly accomplished at helping women navigate financial challenges during difficult times, such as divorce or bereavement.

“I am exceptionally proud to achieve this career milestone and I’ve been delighted to receive warm wishes from both clients and my professional connections,” added Naomi.

“This is a really exciting time to be part of our journey and I’m keen to continue playing an integral role in our growth.”

Supporting women in financial services

Despite progress in recent years, women remain underrepresented in financial services in the UK, so Naomi’s appointment as a Partner marks significant progress for the firm and the profession.

She continued: “As a parent of two, I’ve always worked full-time and am a huge advocate for women working in finance. Becoming a Partner is a big achievement for me, as I have been in the minority as a female adviser since I started my career nearly 20 years ago.”

Nikki King concluded: “We are extremely proud to support Naomi. I hope this inspires other women looking to either join or progress in the industry, as we desperately need more women in financial services.”
