North Warwickshire and South Leicestershire College (NWSLC) has announced a series of open events starting this week, inviting prospective students to explore the vast opportunities available.
Whether you’re preparing to leave school, looking to begin an apprenticeship, find out more about supported internships, or seeking to advance your skills, these events are designed to help you find your future path.
Starting this Wednesday at the Wigston and Hinckley campuses, and on Thursday at the Nuneaton, Harrowbrook, and MIRA Technology Institute (based in Nuneaton) campuses, attendees will have the chance to tour cutting-edge facilities and get involved in hands-on activities across various career fields.
For those who can’t attend in October, there will be another open event on Saturday 30th November at all campuses.
Not just for school leavers, adults looking to advance their careers, change direction, or pursue higher education courses are encouraged to attend. Whether you’re a parent exploring options with your child or seeking professional development, we have a range of courses to suit your needs.
From stepping into a professional photography studio to seeing an automotive engineering workshop in action, these events will provide an exciting glimpse into what life at NWSLC is all about. As part of the experience, prospective students can discuss their interests and available course options with college tutors and access information on student support services, the cost of attending college, and travel options.
NWSLC’s open events welcome all ages and if you’re unsure which direction to take, their Guidance Team will be available to provide free, impartial career advice.
Marion Plant, OBE, Principal and Chief Executive of NWSLC, said: “Our open events are the perfect way to explore the wide range of opportunities available at NWSLC. Whether you’re just beginning your educational journey or looking to enhance your career, visiting our campuses will help you make an informed decision about your future.
“We are excited to showcase the vibrant learning environments we’ve created and how we can support you in achieving your ambitions.”
