APDS Redruth Regional Service Centre to host Open Day on Barncoose Industrial Estate

APDS is excited to announce the Open Day of its Redruth Regional Service Centre, located on the Barncoose Industrial Estate, Redruth.

The event, scheduled for 25^th September 2024, invites industry professionals, customers, and curious visitors alike to explore the latest innovations in motor control applications and learn more about the services APDS offers across the South West region.

This exclusive event will feature the launch of APDS’s newest product, the APDS DART, offering attendees the first opportunity to see the product in action and discover its unique features.

In addition to the product launch, the Open Day will include:

• • Facility Tours: Guests will have the chance to meet the APDS team, tour the state-of-the-art facility, and gain insights into the company’s operations and services.
    • Expert Presentations: Attendees can participate in presentations on energy-efficient motors and learn how Variable Speed Drives (VSD) can help reduce energy consumption in motor control processes.
      • Live Demonstrations:
        • A team from ABB will demonstrate their advanced remote services drivetrain unit.
        • Motortronics will display a selection of their cutting-edge softstarters.
        • Visitors can explore the dedicated Service Area, focusing on the importance of drives maintenance. Attendees will also get a peek inside the “service suitcase,” APDS’s first aid kit for drive service and repairs.
        • The latest ABB drive portfolio will be on display, offering a close-up look at the technologies shaping the future of motor control.
