A small Wiltshire-based social media & content agency, Sheldon Social, has earned the renowned Small Business Sunday award (SBS), given by successful business and television personality Theo Paphitis.

Sheldon Social, headed up by Shelly Terry, who is passionate about crafting dynamic social media strategies for businesses, accepted the award at the acclaimed International Convention Centre (ICC) in Birmingham last month.

The award, given by ex-Dragon’s Den star Theo Paphitis, recognises leading small businesses in their field, around the UK. It serves as a testament to the hard work and dedication Shelly and her small team of freelancers has poured into their services, placing them amongst the 4000 winners that have been chosen in the last 11 years.

Upon receiving the award, the founder of Sheldon Social said, “This is a landmark moment for us. It’s a testament to our hard work in supporting our clients in the ever-changing social media landscape! I can’t tell you how happy I am to have my company recognised and in such good company, too!”

The annual event was supported by significant companies like Google and Natwest, and all the participants enjoyed a fireside chat with TV’s Stacey Solomon, whose warm, friendly and supportive talk was regarded as inspirational.

The reward for Sheldon Social extends beyond the certificate, though; the SBS award opens doors to an exclusive collection of past winners, offering exciting networking opportunities. “The SBS event last month was awesome; it was such a wonderful mix of networking, opportunities, space for business growth and just good fun,” said Shelly.
