Yorkshire designer brings handcrafted luxury collection home

A Leeds-trained designer who has spent years honing her craft in London and Yorkshire is returning to her home city for her first-ever pop-up, showcasing her new luxury ready-to-wear collection at Victoria Gate on 26th and 27th September.

Designer and maker Isabelle Randall creates every piece herself in Yorkshire, specialising in handmade linen and tweed womenswear and menswear.

Having gained her BA (Hons) degree in Fashion Design at Leeds University and a Master’s at the Royal College of Art in London, Isabelle developed her expertise working alongside some of the industry’s leading Couture designers including Hussein Chalayan, Bella Freud and Roland Klein.

Her career has since taken her from London to Scotland and, more recently, to the North Yorkshire coast, where she has established her own design practice creating bespoke and custom-made pieces.

Now, Isabelle is bringing that experience to her first made-to-order collection, combining the craftsmanship of bespoke clothing with pieces designed to be more accessible to customers looking for quality, individuality and longevity.

The collection has already been showcased at events including Bramham International Horse Trials and York Fashion Week, and the Victoria Gate pop-up marks a significant milestone for Isabelle as she returns to the city where her journey into fashion began.

“I have wanted to have a presence in Leeds for many years, so I’m delighted to be hosting this special pop-up in the gorgeous Victoria Gate,” said Isabelle.

“Everything I create is handmade by me in Yorkshire, from the initial design through to the finished piece. For me, luxury is about the quality of the materials, the craftsmanship and creating something that is made to be treasured rather than simply worn for one season.

“This is a special opportunity to bring my work back to Leeds and share it directly with shoppers.”

The event will also hold a deeply personal significance for Isabelle, taking place on what would have been her late father’s birthday. He sadly passed away earlier this year and had been a longstanding supporter of her career.

“The fact that this event is taking place on my dad’s birthday makes it extra special,” Isabelle added. “He was my biggest cheerleader and would be so proud to see me here in Leeds city centre, showcasing my designs.”

Shoppers can visit the IsabelleRANDALL pop up on 26-27th September outside John Lewis, Victoria Gate, Leeds.
