Staff at Wyboston Lakes Resort have chosen to support local charity FACES, based in Bedford, with their fundraising efforts for the next two years.
Employees were asked to vote to choose one from several charities nominated.
Steve Jones, Managing Director at Wyboston Lakes Resort, said: “Our commitment to giving back to the communities in which we live and work is embedded in our culture and I’m extremely proud to be working with local charity FACES. It was the clear winner in our vote. Our staff felt very passionate about supporting local families and children in need and I’m positive this passion and enthusiasm will be reflected in our fundraising efforts across the next two years.”
FACES, which stands for Family and Children’s Early-help Services, provides practical and emotional support for families and children suffering from difficult issues, such as mental health and domestic abuse.
