Wolverhampton trainer offers free courses during the pandemic

Octomum Marie Buchan has been appointed ambassador for Wolverhampton-based Excellence Training & Coaching Services

Wolverhampton-based trainer, Vikas Chopra, is on a mission to help the UK out of the pandemic by offering his courses free of charge. With accreditations including First Aid, Conflict Management and Health & Safety, he wants to upskill people to get back into the workplace and enhance their business offering.

The national trainer has seen a rise in demand for his specialist accreditations after moving to distance learning last year. As the UK prepares to emerge from its third lockdown, Vikas wants to build the skills of the nation and is on a mission to help growth and development at a time when the economy needs it most.

“We have trained thousands of people to date and I want to be able to keep doing what I’m doing. I truly believe that development and training is the route out of this pandemic, helping to make businesses stronger and people more employable.

I have been offering courses for free but I’m now opening this up so that people can pledge whatever they can afford, as a way to help us keep doing what we’re doing,” Vikas said.

Excellence Training & Coaching Services, Vikas’ Midlands-based company, has a mission statement to “Inspire the Secrets of Greatness” by offering limitless, immeasurable growth and development. He offers a range of bespoke courses including First Aid, Customer Service, Conflict Management, Foods Safety, Health & Safety, First Aid for Mental Health, to name a few.

One of Vikas’ recent students is Octomum Marie Buchan, who recently completed a series of courses. Having seen Marie talk about a feeling of helplessness when one of her children was taken ill, Vikas reached out and offered her First Aid training. She has now been appointed an Ambassador for Excellence Training & Coaching Services.

“Marie is such an incredible woman… always trying to do the best by her family. I met her when she attended a virtual training session and realised that she’s the exact kind of student that we want to entice. She’s just a normal mum who wants to provide for her children and this is who we’re seeing come through to us to do training; normal, everyday people who want to improve their lives and come through this pandemic even stronger.

Training is often seen as something that only businesses book for their staff, but we have to open up access and make it accessible to everyone. By offering our courses for free I am trying to do just that, and now that we have offered the ability for the community to donate to us, we can keep doing it!” Vikas concludes.

Excellence Training & Coaching Services offers a host of courses including Leadership Training, Emotional Intelligence, Coaching, Mentoring, Communications in Excellence & Mastery, Customer Care, Delegation, Motivation, Problem Solving, Time Management and Team Building Delivering Leadership Training to Managers, Staff and Team Leaders.
