Windsor entrepreneur shares free marketing tips for SMEs

Sophie Comas

Sophie Comas from Rimu Marketing, Windsor, Berkshire, is sharing free advice to help get businesses back on track this spring.  In celebration of their 7th business birthday they will also be launching a five-day FREE marketing challenge open to local businesses starting on 19 April.

The last year has been tough and as small business owners want to re-engage with their customers or perhaps make the leap from the corporate world to self-employment, marketing will be at the heart of this.

Sophie, who is also a special advisor at the Berkshire Growth Hub advises businesses to ramp up their marketing activity.

  • Know your target audience, be clear on their needs and how you can help.
  • Nurture your existing customers, what new products or services could you talk to them about?
  • Build your marketing channels (blog, website, social media and email marketing) and ensure you are engaging with your audience regularly.
  • Be clear on your unique value proposition. What sets you apart from your competitors?

“I recognise that many people out there will be taking a leap of faith to realise their dreams and ambitions to start working for themselves.  This is where RIMU Marketing can help.  Think of us as your “virtual marketing department”.  We are a team of marketing associates, all passionate about supporting small business owners with any marketing challenge.” says Sophie.
