TVH UK Ltd tuck into fundraising for local hospice

Generous staff at Kidderminster-based TVH UK Ltd have raised £2,500 to support local charity KEMP Hospice. A team of staff at the industrial equipment supplier achieved this fantastic fundraising total by opening an office tuck shop, and by selling tickets for a Christmas tombola.

Staff at TVH UK Ltd set up the tuck shop, known as the ‘Snack Stop’ selling a selection of snacks and goodies in aid of the local Hospice. They also held a tombola at Christmas, and from selling snacks and tombola tickets, the workforce of over 150 members of staff raised an impressive £2,500 for the charity.

John Percy Managing Director of TVH UK Ltd said “I’m so pleased that as a team we were able to raise money to support our local Hospice charity. We have a sustainability project which we have been growing, and fundraising is a key part of that, particularly showing support for local charities. A number of our team are familiar with the services KEMP provides so we were only too happy to show our support for them.”

Jayne Sargeant, Corporate Fundraiser at KEMP Hospice said “We were absolutely blown away by the total raised by the team at TVH UK Ltd. From a tuck shop and Christmas tombola, they’ve raised a phenomenal amount that will make such a difference to the Hospice. To give an example, £2,500 will pay for a KEMP Hospice specialist nurse for over 16 days. What a wonderful impact their fundraising will have for the local community.”
