Timms announces move to new city centre office in Derby

Timms Solicitors has moved offices in Derby to pave the way for further growth.

The firm, which has offices in Ashby, Swadlincote and Burton, will be based at 5 Queen Street in Derby – remaining firmly in Derby’s Cathedral Quarter.

The move to the newly refurbished office creates a more collaborative and flexible space for staff and allows Timms to retain a prime city centre location in Derby.

Timms Managing Partner, Fiona Moffat, explained: “We have been established in Derby for many years, firstly in Babbington Lane and most recently in St Michael’s Church on Queen Street where we’ve been for the past 11 years.

“We were extremely keen to remain in one of Derby’s most sought-after shopping and business districts and were drawn to Queen Street because it offered us a fresh, new space to run the business.

“The new office gives us a contemporary and flexible base to grow our team and develop and build on the services we offer the people of Derby.

“For our loyal clients who visit us, our new city centre base is just a stone’s throw away from our previous home.”

From Monday, August 3, Timms will welcome clients to the new office at number 5 Queen Street, which offers a light and bright new reception area, meeting rooms for visitors and easy access to parking and bus routes.

At the Derby office, the Timms team specialise in Family Law, Conveyancing, Wills & Probate and Personal Injury. It also houses the firm’s HR, Marketing and Accounts teams.

Fiona added: “We have been searching for a new home in Derby for more than 18 months and we were drawn to this office for many reasons, including the welcoming shopfront window.

“This office space and the location really ticked all the boxes for us, and we are very much looking forward to getting settled in.”
