The Mary Stevens Hospice are inviting healthcare professionals in the Black Country and Dudley Borough to an open event.
The Hospice will open it’s doors on Thursday 21st April, giving you the opportunity to have a look around their new facilities, find out more about the work of the Hospice and develop a working relationship with the Hospice team.
Doctor Alan Pestridge, Palliative Care Physician at The Mary Stevens Hospice, said: “The intended benefits are that the visitors will be able to find out more about the Hospice, see our fantastic new facilities and be able to network and develop a working relationship with the team here.
By doing this we hope that we can offer our outstanding palliative care services to a wider group of patients, including those with respiratory, cardiac and neurological disease, ie raise awareness that the Hospice’s services are open to any person with any life limiting illness and who is from any gender/ethnicity/sexual orientation/homeless etc”
The Mary Stevens Hospice services are open to any person with any life limiting illness and from any gender/ethnicity/sexual orientation. It is the hope of the Hospice that this open event will be the start of strong working relationships between healthcare professionals and Hospice staff to ensure that the Hospice’s care is accessible to all of those in the Borough that need it.
