TERN Group appoint Dr Tim Rideout into key leadership role

TERN Group is excited to announce the appointment of Dr Tim Rideout as Managing Director – Health and Social Care. Tim’s career, which has spanned 35 years in Healthcare from being the Chief Executive of multiple NHS Trusts, to leading projects for the Department of Health, KPMG, and NHS England, before moving into the Private Sector to lead the UK and Rwanda businesses for Babylon Health, and most recently, E-Med’s global clinical services.

He joins TERN at a pivotal part of their journey, taking the global lead on all health and social care business. He will enable TERN to accelerate their growth, working with health and social care organisations to help solve the talent shortage across both sectors in an ethical way.

Dr Rideout’s experience of solving complex challenges directly with and for NHS and private health bodies, with outstanding accomplishments such as the development and implementation of The NHS Commissioning Board (NHS England), brings extensive experience, knowledge and opportunity to the TERN team.

TERN has been showcasing their transformational approach to ethical international recruitment with multiple NHS Trusts and Care Home Operators. They offer a more cost-effective option than agencies to cut down on locum expenditure and make life simpler for HR and Workforce teams. These Trusts include Plymouth University Hospitals NHS Trust and BHR NHS Trust, where they have used the platform to streamline the hiring and relocation process from receiving matching candidates for their roles, interviewing, and offering through to relocation support.
