When The Ice Cream Alliance hosted its annual prestigious awards ceremony on the 5th of March, one of the most anticipated categories was vanilla ice cream – a timeless classic that had both industry giants and emerging artisans struggling to perfect.
This year, the top honour in the Vanilla Ice Cream category went to Tarr’s Ice Cream Ltd, who wowed the judges with its exceptional take on the beloved flavour.
Reacting to their win, Tarr’s Ice Cream Ltd shared, “We are very proud and pleased to have been awarded 1st place in the Ice Cream – Vanilla category in this year’s National Ice Cream Competition held last month in Birmingham. Since winning this award for the first time in 1978, we have won first place in this and other categories many times.“
