Calling all thrill seekers! Come and join your local hospital charity for a once in a lifetime experience, where you can take to the skies and step towards the ultimate daredevil thrill – the tandem skydive! Enjoy a tandem skydive on 20th June or 10th July and raise money to support a ward or department of your choice.
You will be securely attached to an experienced Tandem Instructor who takes charge of vital functions such as opening the parachute and landing safely. You will then fly to between 10,000-15,000 feet and exit the aircraft. The free-fall will take around 30 – 45 seconds before the parachute is deployed. In no time at all you will have reached the ground with a soft landing!
If you are from a company/organisation that are interested in holding a team skydive we are able to cater for large group bookings too, great for team building, and we can allocate you your own private day. Have fun whilst raising for a cause that means a lot to you with our Corporate Skydives.
Jackie Rowland, a nurse at University Hospitals Birmingham, decided to participate in memory of her friends who lost their life to cancer, and said: “It was one of the best and scariest experiences of my life! I absolutely loved the thrill of it all and was so happy to give something back to the amazing hospital that I work for, ensuring that the charity can continue to provide items above and beyond what the NHS can fund!’
