Sulets awarded Investors in People Gold

Leicester based student accommodation charity Sulets has been accredited with the prestigious Gold award from Investors in People (IiP). Gold accreditation means Sulets have got the policies in place but more than that, it means everyone takes ownership for making them come to life. Only 17% of accredited organisations achieve Gold from Investors in People.

The award shows that Sulets values and invests in the development of its people. This enables Sulets to gain the benefits laid out by IiP. They are the development of better leaders, the use of efficient structures and effective teams, a culture of continuous improvement, a framework that allows us to define our culture and the ability to measure feedback, enabling us to benchmark ourselves against previous years and other businesses.

This recognition is particularly important for Sulets as our not-for-profit status means we set high standards and pride ourselves on delivering a trusted and honest service. This can only happen if our people are experts in their field, have the skills necessary to look after customers and understand fully what the Sulets brand stands for. The recognition of our high standards by IiP is a valuable independent assessment of our approach.

Sulets CEO, Irving Hill said,

“We are extremely happy to be recognised by Investors in People and achieve their Gold standard. The feedback from the assessor was very positive and it was great to hear positive feedback from our team as part of the assessment.”
