Spreadex Sports have got ready for a busy Championship football season ahead after signing partnership deals with Sunderland, Burnley, Norwich City, West Bromwich Albion and Huddersfield Town.

The UK betting brand, which offers customers the choice of sportsbook or spread betting from the same account, has penned a three year deal to be Front of Shirt Sponsor for newly promoted Sunderland.

The deals with Burnley, Norwich, West Brom and Huddersfield are all official betting partnerships, featuring LED pitchside branding, interview backdrops, player activations, social media campaigns and fan competitions and giveaways.

Spreadex will also be working on charity initiatives with all the clubs. Last season as Front of Shirt Sponsor of Burnley in the Premier League, the firm pledged £5 from the sale of all Clarets third kits to charity, helping to raise nearly £40,000 for the Alzheimer’s Society.

Head of Marketing Operations, Andy MacKenzie said: “We are delighted to be able to continue our relationship with Burnley in the Championship but also thrilled to also be partnering with Sunderland, West Bromwich Albion, Norwich and Huddersfield.

“All the clubs share the same ambitious outlook that we have at Spreadex and, having met with all the media teams, we have set out an exciting plan for the season ahead where we will be running regular competitions to the fans as well as an inter-club content series that will see players from each side going head-to-head in a series of challenges.

“Although the deals of course will give increased exposure to the Spreadex Sports brand, we also plan to give back to the local communities with a series of initiatives aimed at supporting each club’s Charity Foundations.”

Spreadex, based in St Albans, Herts, and formed in 1999, has additionally struck a deal with Arc Racing to sponsor the Starting Stalls at more than 1000 flat races across 13 courses throughout the summer.

That will be followed by Mile Category Sponsor at the winter All Weather Racing series, beginning in November.
