Santa will get you ho ho home on Christmas Eve

Santa Claus is coming to town to support a good cause, thanks to a popular Solihull travel firm.

As the real Santa will be extremely busy, one of LandFlight’s generous staff members will be donning his suit and bringing some Christmas cheer to bus passengers in Solihull on Christmas Eve.

Steve Jones, who joined LandFlight in July, has been driving buses for more than 20 years and for the last 10 he has dressed as Father Christmas and raised money for a host of good causes, including the Royal British Legion.

This year he will be raising money for Help for Heroes.

LandFlight director Danny Matthews said: “We are delighted that Steve is doing this to bring some festive cheer to people’s journeys.

“The fact he is doing it for Help for Heroes, which is such an amazing charity, makes it even more special.”

Steve said: “It is an absolute pleasure to don the Santa suit and see people’s faces light up when they realise who will be joining them for a bit of their journey!

“It’s always also great to be able to help a good cause like Help for Heroes which does so much to support injured servicemen and women.”
