Royal Garden Hotel launches new restaurant Origin Kensington

The Royal Garden Hotel, part of the Goodwood Group, is pleased to launch its brand-new ground-floor restaurant, Origin Kensington. At the heart of Kensington’s vibrant hospitality scene, the Royal Garden Hotel bridges the gap between park and hotel. Origin Kensington will add to the hotel’s culinary offering and provide a new dining hotspot for neighbourhood guests and visitors alike, in one of London’s most cherished locations.  

Now open for bookings, Origin Kensington will serve seasonal top-quality British cuisine in a bright and comfortable space with excellent views overlooking the natural beauty of Kensington Gardens. In addition to its lunch and dinner menu, the restaurant will provide a weekend jukebox brunch, featuring exquisite small plates and complete with live music.  

Executive Chef, John Serhal, has curated a menu of quality without compromise, which will exclusively feature locally and nationally sourced ingredients, celebrating the best of British seasonal produce. To provide the finest ingredients, Origin Kensington is partnering with some of the country’s premium suppliers, including H. Forman & Son for their renowned London cured smoked salmon, and Aubrey Allen, the Royal household’s preferred butcher.  

Origin Kensington’s launch marks a further new chapter for the Royal Garden Hotel, which only recently completed the first phase of a major redesign, creating a luxurious and friendly experience for its international guests. The new restaurant also follows in the footsteps of the ever-popular and acclaimed Min Jiang, the hotel’s top-floor Asian restaurant, a staple in Kensington’s culinary scene. 

Origin Kensington is open for bookings and held a launch event on September 29th, including sample tasters from the menu, cocktails, and a carving station for its famous Boston Rib. Origin Kensington’s partnered suppliers will be in attendance to showcase the success of locally and seasonally sourced ingredients.
