Research and Development in the Construction Sector Webinar

Research & Development has historically been dismissed as people in white lab coats developing ground-breaking drugs, the reality is that in the construction sector, innovation has always been part of day-to-day life. Recent statistics however show that less than 2.5% of all research and development tax credit claims received by HMRC came from within this sector.

When you consider that in 2017 the construction industry contributed £113 billion to the UK economy there appears to be an imbalance.

If a construction company is spending time and money on unique ways of tackling obstacles such as tricky ground conditions, building information modelling technologies or advancements in health and safety, it is likely that enhanced relief could be available.

The webinar will be hosted by Adam Longmore, Taxation Director at Dains. Adam has almost 20 years experience working in taxation and focuses on providing proactive and timing advice, including research and development tax credits.

Join us on this free webinar where we will discuss the general application of the relief and how we can identify significant savings.
