Channel 4 Car Boot Kings Andrew Walsh and James Taroni have decided to help the pensioners, knowing that they are going to suffer this winter.
They have decided to carry on with their car boot fairs right through until Christmas, which are always well attended, and offer any pensioner a free stall and car parking, in an effort to give them the opportunity to sell any items that they can to make some money.
Taroini said “ We are disgusted by the way our new Government are treating our pensioners by taking away their heating allowance. We both just want to do our bit to help them where we can, so they can afford to keep warm this winter.”
Walsh said “Our boot fairs offer a service to the community and we support our community wherever we can. They are always bargains to be had and we love to help anyone that is struggling”.
