At a time where festivals around the UK are announcing their star-studded line ups, Solihull Summer Fest has announced Midlands Air Ambulance Charity as the charity of the year for its 2024 music festival, which is taking place 18th-21st July.

With headliners Ronan Keating and The Jacksons, the four-day event at Tudor Grange Park will be supporting the charity’s pre-hospital emergency service, helping to raise vital funds that will help save lives across the region.

The event will be boosting the charity’s income through a variety of different ways, including bucket collections and plastic cup deposit donations, where attendees can choose to donate their cup deposit at the bar.

Ian Rogers, festival director at Solihull Summer Fest, said: “We’re really excited to be supporting Midlands Air Ambulance Charity. After visiting its Cosford airbase, I learnt more about the incredible work that the crew do in our area on a daily basis. I am looking forward to our 2024 festival championing this lifesaving service, where hopefully our keen festival-goers will help make a mission possible while enjoying our iconic summer event.”

Pam Hodgetts, corporate partnerships manager , said: “We rely on the generosity of donations from local people and businesses to help maintain our clinical operations. Support from public events like Solihull Summer Fest gives us an important platform to help maximise our fundraising efforts.

“We can’t wait to attend the Solihull Summer Fest, soak up the sun and help raise money towards our lifesaving service.”
